Confession time: I did not take many photos at Christmas.
GASP!
Yes, it is true...and it was a conscious decision to leave off obsessing about the perfect Christmas morning photos and simply enjoy the day.
While cooking our Christmas Eve dinner, I looked out the kitchen window to see the clouds parted and this marvelous light suddenly illuminating the backyard. Grabbing the camera, I ran outside without shoes and a coat to capture the neighbors trees.

After presents and our traditional Christmas brunch, we enjoyed a few hours at Longwood Gardens.
The Christmas trees and the poinsettias in the conservatory were gorgeous.
I aspire to have trees and decorations like this...but it will never happen!

The dollhouse looks so nice! My daughter would love to have this. I'd also love to see how the interiors look.
